Master Musician and Activist Dr. Sarwar Khan is featured in Aug ’13 The Caravan article "Desert Drummers," detailing Dr. Khan's struggle and vision of dignity and equality for the Merasi people.
Maharaja Gaj Singh is featured in the June 28, 2013, Wall Street Journal article called, The Last Maharaja. He also met with the crew from Song of the Dunes to try and help the Kalbeliya from losing their homes.
